Brian was born in Dallas, Texas the same week Bill Haley’s “Rock Around the Clock” was No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 40. A little later, he taught himself to play keyboards jamming along with Led Zeppelin records on his parents’ Hammond organ instead of doing homework during junior high school. Despite those efforts, he made it into graduate school which brought him to Austin where he founded a rock’n’roll band that became a sought-after act at fraternity and sorority houses across the state. Now with Off The Record he loves playing the music he truly grew up with.
